Special Situations Related to Email Username

  • If you are unsure whether an existing account exists, please check with us first. We strive to avoid creating duplicate accounts.
  • You may not be able to use a .edu email address from other institutions; Handshake interprets that as if you are a current student.
  • If you prefer a different email address than the one currently attached to your account, we must change it.
  • If you register as an Employer in Handshake, please use your work email. Alumnae/i using Handshake for their career activities should ideally use a personal email domain.

• Use your employer login information if you have already used  to recruit at other schools. Once you log in, click "Schools" and the "Find Schools" tab. You can then type "UUÖ±²¥" and request to connect directly with our institution.
