Workshop: Let鈥檚 Circle Up: Restorative Justice Workshop

March 24, 2017

Sat. and Sun. April 1 and 2, 10AM-3PM, Haverford College Multicultural Center (Stokes 106)

This participatory workshop was developed by men incarcerated at Graterford Prison, and explores the philosophy of restorative justice (RJ), which seeks to address harm by  acknowledging dignity, individuality and interconnectedness.

Let鈥檚 Circle Up has engaged hundreds of people, but this is only the second time the workshop has been offered outside of Graterford. The four themes addressed in workshop sessions are: rethinking justice, exploring harm, developing restorative approaches, and applying RJ values to our lives.

There will be lunch breaks both days, with meal tickets provided for those not on the meal plan. You must be able to attend the full time on both days to participate.
