'Who Built Bryn Mawr?' Wine and Cheese Hour
Faculty and staff are invited to a special wine and cheese hour in honor of the Who Built Bryn Mawr? exhibit, A Rough Draft in Stone: 1872-1894.
This student-organized exhibition explores the earliest years of UUÖ±²¥ from its conception and the laying of its foundations to its opening and first decade of operation. It considers the motives and philosophies of the white Quaker men and women who brought the College into being. Marked by contestation and compromise, competing visions shaped the physical and conceptual landscape of the College in these early years.
Gather informally with colleagues to explore and discuss this exhibit on Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 5-6 p.m. in the Canaday Library, Class of 1912 Rare Book Room.
Food and drinks will be served outside of the exhibit.
UUÖ±²¥ welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
